Writer’s block is a common complaint, but I rarely experience it. When tackling an unfamiliar topic, some hesitation and blank moments can occur. However, accepting a project means I believe I can craft something compelling. Writing isn’t difficult for most seasoned writers, but the key is to get started. Here’s what helps me:
If I’m stuck, I prepare an outline. It may not be a formal one, but it includes a topic sentence, a few main points, and a conclusion. Remember, an article consists of three parts: an introduction, the body, and a conclusion. Sometimes, I have more content for the body than the introduction. Feeling confident about the draft, I give it a final review to ensure it resonates with me. Sometimes, I set the piece aside or review it the next day for a fresh perspective.
