Back then, dealerships didn’t boast the flashy stainless steel and glass decor we see today, nor did they offer cappuccinos on tap. Yet, the atmosphere was friendly and filled with anticipation. At this moment, there was no hint of the impending issues.
A Dream Begins to Unravel
“Your car is ready, Sir.” With those words, I was led to my new vehicle. It was a magnificent sight?"metallic blue paint, shining alloy wheels, and electric windows. It was a sunny Wednesday in August, and everything felt perfect as we completed the purchase.
However, just a few hours later, with only 70 miles on the clock, all the electrics failed. My dreams quickly turned into a justified sense of foreboding.
A Race Against Time
