From Las Vegas, six vehicles will journey to Long Beach, California, where they'll be loaded onto a cargo ship headed for Shanghai, China. The voyage will take approximately 24 days. These six cars are just the beginning, as a total of 38 vehicles will be loaned by the Auto Collections. Joining them are 37 cars from the Blackhawk Collection in Danville, California.
In total, 75 vehicles from the United States will be showcased, representing 23 different makes and models. The collection includes classic cars like an 1886 Mercedes Benz and a 1972 Alfa Romeo. The value of these automobiles ranges from $20,000 to over a million dollars.
The Blackhawk Pavilion within the Shanghai Automobile Museum will house these 75 vehicles. Remarkably, the museum will offer free admission to the public. This initiative is part of China's plan to develop an international automobile hub, known as Autotown.
