Ron Bennett, a member of the Motorsports Breakfast Steering Committee, will present the award to Ford. Bennett noted, “There are many similarities between the Ford Motor Company and the Boy Scouts. The Pinewood Derby is a perfect example, where we both exercise our imaginations and learn about building the perfect race car. From designing the car to crafting paint schemes, Scouts prepare for their races much like our engineers work on developing race cars.”

Jamie Allison, manager of the Ford Racing Performance Group, expressed gratitude for the award. “It is an honor to be recognized by the Cascade Pacific Council, Boy Scouts of America.
