When my wife suggested the Four Seasons on Peninsula Papagayo for our Christmas vacation, I didn’t hesitate to look it up. I quickly found that Costa Rica lies between North and South America, with Peninsula Papagayo situated on the Pacific Coast. Conveniently, it’s a short distance from Daniel Oduber International Airport in Liberia, making travel easy.
The Four Seasons was as incredible as expected. Confident in the Four Seasons' reputation, we eagerly booked our stay. The entrance was breathtaking, revealing the bay as we drove past a picturesque golf course to reach the hotel. The warm welcome from the staff, who seemed to know us instantly, set the tone for our visit.
We stayed in adjoining rooms in the 3000 building, perfect for families. The rooms were beautifully appointed with spacious bathrooms and large private balconies.
What made our stay memorable? The exceptional service, the stunning golf course that my son couldn’t get enough of, the diverse dining options, particularly the delectable steaks at the clubhouse, and the beautiful pools. The experience was pure luxury, emphasizing that quality comes at a price.
We’re already planning to return once we’ve saved up. It’s true, high quality isn’t cheap, but the memories are priceless.
