A few days after attending the renowned Father-Son Challenge at ChampionsGate, we had the chance to play the International Course ourselves. Experiencing a championship course in near-tournament condition was thrilling, especially with the slight increase in difficulty. The open, wind-swept design features numerous bunkers and a variety of water hazards, and with a rating of 76.3, it's among the most challenging in the state.

The David Leadbetter Academy is a hotspot for golf celebrities. During our visit, Charles Howell III was practicing, and Greg Norman had recently arrived for a lesson. Alan mentioned that Michelle Wie favors a table by the big screen TV.
ChampionsGate is also home to unique wildlife, including American bald eagles, whooping cranes, and alligators. End your day with a view of eagles at sunset while a bagpiper plays, adding a special touch introduced by Alan.
