Oasis Hong Kong Airlines Strengthens Management with New Appointment
Oasis Hong Kong Airlines has enhanced its leadership team by appointing seasoned aviation expert, David Solloway, as the General Manager - North America. In this role, Solloway will report to Fritz Blayney, Senior Vice President - North America, and will spearhead strategic efforts to meet revenue and passenger targets, while upholding the airline’s high safety and service standards.

Solloway brings extensive international experience, having previously served as Director of Marketing at Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, Jamaica. His career spans various senior roles at United Airlines, where he worked as general manager in New Delhi and Hong Kong, divisional manager of marketing and sales in Hong Kong, and general manager for Thailand/Indochina in Bangkok.
Before his tenure at United Airlines, Solloway held senior management positions at Canadian Airlines International in Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Singapore.
Beyond his professional roles, Solloway is actively involved with several organizations, including the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association, Rotary, and the Canadian Institute of Mortgage Brokers and Lenders. His leadership roles have included chairmanship of the Travel Industry Association of America in India, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, and vice-chairmanship of the Board of Airlines Representatives in Hong Kong. He also served on the Hong Kong Government Aviation Security Council.
A Canadian citizen, Solloway holds an Associate of Arts in Commerce, Marketing, and Retail Merchandising from Douglas College in Richmond, BC. With his extensive background, Solloway is set to make a significant impact on Oasis Hong Kong Airlines’ operations in Canada.
