Your Core Belief
Understanding Your Core Beliefs
Core beliefs are often accepted as truth without much questioning. Over time, these beliefs form a system similar to a computer's operating system, quietly running in the background, usually unnoticed.
From childhood, our core beliefs are shaped by various influences, such as family and important figures in our lives. By adulthood, these beliefs are well-established and rarely change unless something drastic occurs.
Positive core beliefs lead to beneficial attitudes, behaviors, and performances. Conversely, negative beliefs can limit success and happiness.
Can We Change Core Beliefs?
If you face a recurring issue in your life, it may be tied to a false or limiting belief. To change or improve these beliefs, it's essential first to understand how they work.
Belief systems are essentially repetitive thoughts that become automatic. Our subconscious uses fixed patterns established early in life, attracting people and circumstances that affirm these beliefs. As negative beliefs grow, it becomes easier to find 'evidence' supporting them and harder to see the positives.
To change an unwanted belief, acknowledge its original positive intention. Many negative beliefs were initially created to protect us and were relevant at the time.
Updating Your Belief System
The issue arises when we cling to outdated beliefs that no longer serve today's reality. Focus on transforming these beliefs into something beneficial. Avoid blaming others for instilling false beliefs; what's crucial is transforming them into something useful now.
Building a positive belief system will send out the right vibrations, attracting people and circumstances to create the experiences we desire.
