Faith, Trust, and Hope
Overview
We navigate life through the lens of faith, relying on what God has done for us?"realities we perceive only through belief. Our existence is shaped by experiencing an invisible, spiritual truth, limited by our human perspective. Yet, we hope eagerly for the fulfillment of promises yet to come.
Understanding the Spiritual Journey
Our lives are deeply intertwined with spiritual truths, although our understanding is often incomplete. This limitation stems from our physical nature, which constrains our ability to fully comprehend God. Our hearts also face challenges, particularly in giving and receiving Love.
The Faith Journey
The journey of faith involves two significant challenges. First, there is the initial crisis of not knowing God, which highlights our need for redemption and salvation. Second, even after knowing God, there is a continuous need for spiritual growth, often referred to as progressive sanctification.
Believers may face confusion, insecurity, and a lack of confidence if they remain spiritually immature. Although we are spiritually renewed through redemption, we are still awaiting the transformation of our mortal bodies?"a central tension in the faith journey.
Living in Anticipation
We live by what God has accomplished, visible only through faith. We hold on to the hope of eventual completion, trusting that the promised future will be fulfilled. With God’s help, the invisible becomes more perceptible, and our incomplete state more bearable, as we wait here on earth.
During this waiting period, we strive to share God’s love, even if imperfectly, yet sincerely. By embracing this journey, we find strength in faith, trust, and hope.
