Spooky Storytelling
Set the Halloween mood with some eerie storytelling. Prepare a deck of index cards, each with a story-starting phrase. Make sure you have at least one per guest, and tailor them to fit the age group. Here are some examples:

Cover the tray with a cloth, then reveal the items to guests for a minute or two before recovering them. Give everyone a piece of paper and a pencil to write down as many items as they remember. The person with the most correct guesses wins a prize. You can also add these items to goodie bags afterward!
Terror Tag
For this game, you'll need a spacious room. Secretly assign each guest to be either a ghost or a mortal using slips of paper. Make sure there are far more mortals than ghosts. Dim the lights or consider blindfolding the players. As guests move around the room, they shake hands and whisper their role. If a guest shakes hands with a ghost, they must freeze in "terror." The game continues until only ghosts remain.
