Why do so many people yearn for the abundance life offers but fail to believe it’s achievable for them? The real question is, why not? To attain wealth, you must first believe it’s possible. Astonishingly, it’s far more attainable than most people realize.
A Foundation of Hope
I hail from a middle-class family where financial struggles were common. Despite this, we nurtured our dreams. My father, with his entrepreneurial spirit, started many ventures, though fortune often eluded us. Nonetheless, we had a richer treasure?"love and encouragement. Our parents always affirmed, “You can be anything you want to be if you want it badly enough.”
A Shift in Perspective
Now, at 31, I own a multi-million-dollar property portfolio, have left my job for a life of freedom, married my dream partner, and live abroad, traveling frequently. What sets me apart from others who didn’t realize their dreams? Simply, the belief that dreams are achievable.
For instance, I’d try on expensive shoes even without the means to buy them, aiming to feel comfortable with wealth. I focused on maintaining positive internal and external language. Instead of saying, “I can’t afford those,” I opted for, “I choose not to buy them today.” Feeling wealthy is the first step to becoming wealthy. Consider lottery winners who squandered their fortunes because, despite wanting wealth, they never felt deserving of it.
Aligning Thoughts with Dreams
Reflect on what you think, feel, and say, both to yourself and aloud. Are they aligned with your dreams? If not, find a new approach. Eliminate “I can’t afford it” from your vocabulary.
Conclusion
I have a long journey ahead, and I never want to stop growing and striving. Does the journey ever really end? Today, when I see a $40 million mansion or a 180-foot super yacht, I can confidently say, “That’s for me,” knowing it truly is.
Dare to dream, and believe it’s possible. Your dreams might just become your reality.
