We followed reports about you and knew you'd handle any challenges. Even after overcoming one problem, newer and tougher ones came your way." I looked at them, awaiting a response.
"That's life, John," Marla said. "Once you advance to a new stage, the learning continues. You start with basic math, then move to algebra, geometry, and so on. You could quit school, but life always presents new challenges. So, why spend this beautiful afternoon talking about this? Gideon, tell him what we planned."
