Suddenly, my thoughts returned to the Restaurant at the Edge of Eternity, back to Marla, Gideon, and Theo. With determination, I declared to Marla, “I’ve always yearned to explore Scotland, and I wish to do so alone for my first visit. Would you mind, Marla?”
