It's Okay to Shine!
Summary
We all have days when things just don’t go our way. But looking back, I've realized something crucial about overcoming these frustrations: the key is to stop "playing small."Playing a Game
Reflecting on my past, I can see that when I felt stuck, I was trapped in a mindset I call "Playing Small." I believed there were barriers ?" time, money, resources, qualifications ?" blocking my path.
Thanks to my mentors, I learned to dismantle these barriers. For instance, a business mentor once simplified my financial challenges into basic math, enabling me to understand and overcome them. That simple clarity helped me stop playing small.
There was also a time when I faced a family issue. My spiritual mentor laughed and asked, "Why make life so tough?" I realized I was self-sabotaging with unnecessary complexities.
My coach helped clear my confusion when I was overwhelmed with ideas. "Stop the indecision," he said. "Simplify and act." That advice allowed me to move forward confidently.
Letting You Out
Mentors and coaches have a special talent for helping you see the real you. Whether it's pursuing a successful career or managing personal challenges, they see beyond the obstacles and guide you toward your potential.
As a coach myself, I've seen clients have their own "aha" moments, realizing what's possible beyond "playing small." With guidance, goals that seemed unreachable suddenly become attainable.
When You Shine, the World Shines with You
Recently, despite being on holiday, I heard several clients marvel at newfound insights. These moments transformed their goals into something achievable.
Presenting a problem to a wise person often brings new light to it. That’s why I invest in mentors who offer wisdom and clarity. This investment helps me transform my life with less stress and more focus.
With love and best wishes,
Neil
