I chose to forgo a TV long ago to gain true freedom. The negative link between TV watching and financial freedom is well-established. Most people struggling financially often escape into TV, while many successful individuals rarely succumb to the lure of the screen. The correlation is clear: ditch the TV, and you might notice increased success.
Yet, some people are puzzled by my choice. I don't insist everyone should discard their TVs. Society needs various roles filled, some of which require those who choose TV over other activities. But if you're curious, try living without it for a short while. See how much freedom and creativity you gain.
If you seek real freedom, take this challenge: turn off the TV for two weeks. Discover what your mind can achieve. Embrace the newfound freedom and creativity. You might surprise yourself!
