Understanding what it means for law to be universal is a profound inquiry. This universe represents just a fragment of infinite existence, shaped by these elements. Within this conditioned universe, law is applicable; beyond it, the concept of law does not exist.
Our understanding of the universe is confined by our senses?"what we can see, feel, touch, hear, think about, or imagine. This sensory universe follows laws of causation, but anything beyond our mental and sensory reach is not bound by these laws. Without the association of ideas beyond the senses, causation lacks meaning.
Existence only adheres to the law of causation when it's shaped by name and form. This is why the notion of free will is paradoxical. Our knowledge is confined to the universe and its constraints of space, time, and causation, meaning everything we comprehend is subject to causation.
Thus, what we recognize as the will is also influenced by causation. However, there is an essence that, when shaped by these elements, becomes human will. It is free before entering this mold and will regain freedom once it transcends these limitations. Existence moves from a state of freedom into this temporary bondage and ultimately returns to freedom.
