Why Is Spiritual Truth So Elusive?
Spiritual truth often feels just out of reach. But why is it so hard to grasp and understand matters of spiritual significance?
Here are some insights into why spiritual truth can be elusive:
1. Using the Wrong Approach: Many seek spiritual truth by relying solely on their conventional thinking, which can be limiting. Spiritual reality transcends our everyday thoughts. Most people end up believing rather than truly experiencing the divine reality. My own encounters with Divine Consciousness happened during meditation, when thoughts were minimal. In states of no thought, we can perceive an all-encompassing Presence, revealing profound insights that align with the teachings of ancient sages.
2. Conditioning by Society: Our societal upbringing heavily influences our perceptions, often favoring scientific validation. From a young age, we're taught what is deemed correct, shaping a shared way of thinking. However, before learning these societal norms, children interact with the world uniquely, with natural intuitive faculties. Unfortunately, society often suppresses abilities like intuitive clairvoyance, which are crucial for spiritual exploration.
3. The "Know-It-All" Mentality: Believing we already have all the answers can be a barrier to deeper understanding. This mindset prevents deep exploration and limits our spiritual awareness.
In essence, these reflections shed light on why spiritual truth remains elusive for many seekers. Thank you for reading.
