Over the past year of collaborating with Saving Grace Enterprises, I've learned that everything unfolds in God's timing. The recent weeks have been challenging for Dee, the owner, and me. We've faced numerous obstacles, yet God continually guides us to stay in prayer.
When life gets hectic, it’s easy to think, "I'll pray later." But often, later never comes, which can be a missed opportunity to engage with the Holy Spirit guiding us to pray. Prayer is not just a privilege; it's a powerful way to connect with God, thanks to Jesus's sacrifice and resurrection.
Consider the wonder of prayer: direct communication with the Almighty God. It's astounding to think the Creator of the universe desires a relationship with us, as immense as that relationship is.
God wants constant communication with us. As Paul urges, we should pray ceaselessly, maintaining an ongoing dialogue with Him. Recently, I found a message in Oswald Chambers' "Devotions for a Deeper Life" that resonated with me, highlighting the dangers of focusing on life's challenges rather than on Jesus. It warns against allowing life's cares to choke our spiritual growth.
Prayer keeps us connected to God. By continually bringing everything to Him, our focus remains steady. I'm certain that this incredible journey with Dee, although challenging at times, becomes a joyful adventure when we surrender control to God, maintain constant communication, and enjoy the ride.
