Have you ever pondered whether the soul has a sound? In many ways, we might encounter the soul's resonance more often than we realize. By turning your focus inward, beyond your physical form and mental chatter, your soul reveals itself.
Soulful experiences can also occur outside the confines of body and mind. Recently, I was driving with my friend Suzanne when we passed an old barn, its structure collapsing. Once sturdy, it had sheltered vehicles and animals for years. Like people, it aged, becoming a poignant reminder of life's fleeting moments.
We, much like that barn, hold memories and experiences within us. As we reflect, these memories awaken and allow us to relive soulful moments brimming with vitality. Our soul speaks through these inner visions and feelings.
In silent contemplation, we touch upon eternal aspects of living. It’s the essence that transcends competition and material pursuits. The soul connects us to what lies beyond appearances, requiring no senses to perceive or express.
The soul exists in the silent spaces between thoughts and actions, filled with timeless knowing. It bridges flesh and spirit, shaping a dimension where infinite possibilities chart our spiritual journey.
Try This Exercise:
When you wake up, simply listen. Let your attention absorb the sounds around you without analysis. Notice their proximity?"birds, cars, or household noises. Observe the part of you that notices these sounds. What does that inner presence feel like?
There’s also an internal voice?"analyzing, planning, worrying. It propels you into action, pulling you from silent observation. Yet, both aspects coexist. By consciously integrating them, ordinary events become sacred, inviting gratitude into every moment.
Can you discern these two aspects? One anchors you in the material world, while the other guides you into silence?"the realm of the soul’s essence.
