The Sopranos: Season 3 DVD Review
Overview
In the late 90s, The Sopranos, alongside HBO's other smash hit Sex and the City, transformed television. With its unique blend of dry humor and gripping drama, the show provided audiences with an entirely new viewing experience. Think The Godfather meets a traditional sitcom family. The series quickly amassed a loyal following and garnered numerous Emmy awards. It chronicles the life of the Soprano family, led by Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini), a middle-aged family man and mafia boss. Alongside him are his wife Carmela (Edie Falco), children Anthony and Meadow (Robert Iler and Jamie Lynn Sigler), his therapist Dr. Jennifer Melfi (Lorraine Bracco), and a host of intriguing mafia characters.
