Article Body
Hey Santa, how’s life in the great white north? As it’s that time of year, here’s my Christmas wish list.
Been Good
I know you check that naughty or nice list, and I promise I've been a model internet marketer this year. No spammy mirror sites or sneaky Google tactics from me! While I've been good, I'm hoping for a few "naughty" gifts this year?"not talking about ponies, but the real deal.
Dear Santa, I would like:
1. A lump of coal for the folks at Yahoo who keep removing my pages from their search results.
2. Another lump for the same people responsible for the Site Match ordeal. Feel free to let your reindeer, um, "decorate" their rooftops.
3. A late-night meeting with someone from Google who handles rankings, ideally after they've had a few drinks. Just need 15 minutes!
4. Five minutes in the Ultimate Fighting Octagon with Bill Gates.
5. Some time with your "naughty list" to identify those fraudulently clicking my PPC ads.
6. To send a "Santa virus" to those behind phishing PayPal emails.
7. The same for the folks sending pharmaceutical spam.
8. A chance to gently tap each DMOZ volunteer editor over the head with my keyboard. Maybe twice.
Santa, I know subtlety is your specialty. When I met you at the mall, you pretended not to understand my requests and called security. Everyone has off days, so I’m counting on you this year.
Oh, and one more thing?"Angelina Jolie. Please leave her short boyfriend at home.
That’s not asking too much, right? Right?
