The World Health Organization and the United Nations have expressed concern over diseases like Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), which has claimed over 25 million lives and infects approximately 38 million people worldwide. Caused by the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), AIDS debilitates the immune system and is transmitted through sexual contact, blood transfusions, contaminated needles, pregnancy, and breastfeeding. In response, global organizations promote safe sex practices and contraceptive use, such as condoms. Beyond AIDS, other sexually transmitted infections include chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis.

While some groups refrain from endorsing contraceptives due to ethical concerns, debates on the moral and legal aspects of abortion continue. Despite potential positive effects, abortion can have adverse health impacts, including a heightened risk of breast cancer and mental health issues like Post Abortion Syndrome.
Ultimately, avoiding unwanted pregnancy through preventive measures is preferred over facing the consequences. Indeed, prevention is better than cure.
