Give Yourself a Headache
Overview:
I’ve often believed that pain is largely influenced by our mindset. Although this view has sparked some debate, I’d like to explain my reasoning.
Recently, I completed a series of articles covering various diseases and illnesses like Tinnitus, Thrush, Lice, Tuberculosis, and Porphyria. Immersing myself in these topics, I began to feel somewhat unwell and even a bit grimy. But why does this happen? Why do some people faint at the sight of blood while others thrive as surgeons?
This brings up an intriguing question: Can we give ourselves a headache or even other symptoms like a sore leg or a stomachache just by thinking about them?
While writing this, I couldn’t help but scratch my head:
"Pediculosis is the technical term for a lice infestation. These parasitic insects inhabit human bodies. Commonly known as head, body, or pubic lice, their primary symptom is itching. If excessive, this itching or scratching can result in sores, which may become infected."
There are some unpleasant things out there, and my advice is to protect yourself. Avoid unnecessary exposure, and be mindful of hygiene. Resist the urge to delve too deeply into distressing visuals or information. Stay clean and steer clear of those who are infected; washing your hair regularly is a good start.
