Tailgating Fun with Shrimp

Summary

Football season brings excitement and parties, and there's nothing better than enjoying a tailgate with friends before the big game.

Article

As football season kicks off, it’s time to celebrate with friends at tailgate parties. Joe Cahn, known as the "commissioner of tailgating," recommends adding Wild American shrimp to your menu. It pairs perfectly with beer, wine, and soft drinks.

“Wild American shrimp is ideal for tailgating because it’s easy, simple, and delicious,” Cahn says. He’s traveled 250,000 miles, visited thousands of cities, and enjoyed over 370 tailgate parties.

Caught off the Gulf and South Atlantic coasts, Wild American shrimp stands out from the pond-raised, imported varieties. “Many people don’t realize they’re eating imported shrimp grown in ponds,” Cahn explains. “Shrimp from the Gulf and Atlantic just tastes better.”

Convenient and versatile, Wild American shrimp can be pre-cooked or grilled fresh at your tailgate. It’s low in fat and rich in flavor, protein, and heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids, providing energy to cheer for your team.
