This free, fiery competition invites chili chefs to vie for the state title and a chance to represent the Rocky Mountain region in the World Chili Cook-off. Event Schedule
Saturday & Sunday:
- 7:30-9:00 AM: Set-up and Registration
- 9:00 AM: ICS Salsa assembly begins
- 9:45 AM: Mandatory Cooks Meeting (Head Judge)
- 10:00 AM: Traditional Red and Chili Verde preparation/cooking start
- Noon: Salsa judging and Open Division "Tasteoff"
- 1:00 PM: Chili Verde (green) judging
- 2:00 PM: Traditional Red division judging
- 3:30 PM: Tequila Shoot N'Holler Contest (Saturday) / Jalapeno Eating Contest (Sunday)
- 4:00 PM: Awards Ceremony for all divisions
