Enforcing such a ban requires significant investment in monitoring software and hardware, funded by taxpayer dollars. Instead, regulating and taxing online casinos could redirect these funds to improve public welfare, addressing issues like poverty and homelessness.
The American government needs to reconsider its paternalistic policies. It's time for citizens to demand a government that respects their autonomy and prioritizes effective, inclusive solutions.
