This wine is bold, with dark berry and cherry notes and medium tannins, making it perfect for drinking now and even better with age, through 2008. Alternatively, the 1999 Rancho Galante offers a delightful vineyard blend with soft tannins, suitable for pairing with chicken, pork, or beef.
