Overview
On March 5th, CNBC launched its 2007 Million Dollar Portfolio Challenge. Each week, the participant with the highest gains receives $10,000. The first phase concludes on May 14th, after which the top ten ranked players and ten weekly winners will be awarded a new virtual million dollars. Two weeks later, the individual with the largest portfolio value from this group will win a real million dollars.

The first, the video trivia question, is worth $2,000 in investing dollars each day. The second is the news question, valued at $1,000 investing bucks. Consistently answering these questions throughout the contest can add up to an additional $150,000 to your portfolio.
