Overjoyed, Samuel rushed home to tell his wife, who was engrossed in a TV show. "You won’t believe it! It’s a miracle. We’re going back to being Jews, and I’m keeping my job!"
His wife turned to him, eyes blazing. "Are you insane?" she exclaimed.
"What do you mean?" Samuel was bewildered. "You've been upset all this time. Don’t you want to be Jewish again?"
"Of course I do," his wife replied, even more fiercely. "But now? Just a week before Passover?"
