Following recent acquisitions and a strategic consolidation, Cingular Wireless has joined forces with AT&T Inc. In a bold rebranding initiative, AT&T has unveiled its UnitySM plan, offering subscribers access to the largest free calling community in the United States. This plan allows for unlimited free calls between all AT&T phones, both wireless and landline.

The Unity plan kicks off on Sunday, January 21, 2007. It marks AT&T's first major product release since acquiring BellSouth Corp. and integrating Cingular Wireless. The initiative aims to unify home, business, and wireless calling, creating a network with more than 100 million AT&T numbers.
Plan Details
Unity subscribers can enjoy free calls to any AT&T number nationwide without extra wireline fees or using their wireless minutes. However, there are some limitations:
- Calls must start and end in the U.S.
- Free calling doesn't cover wireless voicemail, directory assistance, toll-free, 900, international, or dial-around numbers.
- Rollover minutes are not included in the Unity wireless plans.
Eligibility and Pricing
To qualify for the Unity network, customers need to subscribe to both AT&T's wireless service and its unlimited local and long-distance wireline services. Plans include Individual and Family Talk options, with prices ranging from $60 to over $300 per month. Subscribers also benefit from the simplicity of a single bill for both services.
