In a previous guide, we explored farming Arcanist Doan. This updated approach leverages the synergy between a Hunter and a Mage, offering greater efficiency, though it requires two players. Both should be at least level 54, although skilled players with good gear might manage at level 50.
Steps
1. Mage's Role: Enter through the Scarlet Monastery library. The Mage should go first, navigating the mobs using the Blink ability. This allows you to quickly move past enemies. Once you reach Arcanist Doan, wait for the Hunter to catch up.
2. Hunter's Role: Enter shortly after the Mage. Activate Aspect of the Monkey to increase your chance to dodge enemy attacks. When mobs target you, use Feign Death to shake them off, allowing you to proceed safely to Arcanist Doan.
3. Taking Down Arcanist Doan: With two players, defeating Arcanist Doan is straightforward. Be cautious of his Detonation ability?"retreat before he casts it and attack again once it's finished. To maximize profits, ensure one of you is an Enchanter.

Arcanist Doan drops two blue items, each disenchanted into shards worth 6 gold, totaling 12 gold per run.
