About Diner Dash
Diner Dash tells the story of Flo, a young corporate employee who decides to leave the rat race behind and launch her own restaurant. The game offers two modes: Flo's Career and Endless Shift.
Gameplay Overview
In Flo's Career mode, you begin with a rundown diner and aim to build the restaurant of your dreams. As Flo, your goal is to attract and serve enough customers to meet the financial target for each day. Achieving your goal progresses you to the next level, where you're rewarded with upgrades like new tables, a door, or a coffee machine. As you advance, you unlock new restaurants. In Endless Shift mode, you serve customers continuously, ending when too many leave unsatisfied.
System Requirements
The game runs smoothly on modest systems, needing only a Pentium III 600MHz processor, Windows 98 or later, 128MB of RAM, and 12MB of hard disk space.
Visuals and Sound
The game features vibrant, family-friendly graphics, creating a refreshing alternative to today’s more violent video games. The animations and sound effects add a humorous touch, enhancing the entertainment factor.
Progression and Strategy
Each level offers upgrades and bonuses, encouraging you to improve your performance and earn more perks by surpassing daily targets. Although not overly complex, the game requires strategic thinking for optimal seating arrangements and quick reflexes to succeed. Some levels can be challenging, and not progressing past a certain point can be frustrating.
Free Trial
If you're uncertain about purchasing the game, a free one-hour trial is available on Yahoo Games. Chances are, once the 60 minutes are up, you'll be eager to play more.
