I use ip2location.com. By analyzing your IP address, I identify your city and display users nearby. It’s a simple yet effective approach.
Do search engines drive most of your traffic, or do you rely on other sources?
Search engines contribute only about 2% of my traffic. Like many high-traffic sites, word of mouth and repeat visitors are the primary sources.
Offering Free Services
Your services are free for users. How does this give you an advantage over competitors?
I’ve developed algorithms that enable me to run a massive site at minimal cost. Years ago, I created an algorithm far more efficient than those used in the 1990s to locate a series of 22 prime numbers. What once took years on multiple computers, I accomplished on one machine in two weeks.
Do you manage any other websites, or is Plentyoffish.com your sole focus?
Plentyoffish.com is my primary site. I’ve also registered a few sites for friends to explore marketing and affiliate opportunities. For now, one main site is sufficient.

What advice do you have for those aiming to start a profitable online venture?
If people think your idea is "cool," it’s likely not unique enough. Focus on areas others overlook and build substantial traffic there. Remember, sites that seem unprofitable now might be valuable in the future. In the online world, everything will eventually be monetized. Traffic is king.
With such a massive online platform, how do you balance maintenance with other pursuits?
I devote roughly one hour daily to site upkeep?"it’s demanding work. I spend additional time reading and keeping up with current trends.
