3. Already: Means previously. 'All ready' means completely ready.
4. Passed: The past tense of 'pass.' 'Past' refers to something that is over.
5. Dessert: Think 'stressed' backwards. As a noun, 'desert' is a dry area; as a verb, it means to abandon.
6. Fourth: Related to the number four. 'Forth' means forward.
7. Stationery: Refers to paper products. 'Stationary' means not moving.
8. Site: A location. 'Cite' means to quote, and 'sight' refers to vision.
