Remarkably, some of my old songs are resurfacing, thanks in part to Red Haring, a character in FSBO who is both a songwriter and truck driver. His verses, once deemed unremarkable, now capture the moral struggles of a man reconciling with life post-9/11. His songs inspire Brooklyn Best, a real estate agent and the novel’s heroine, with whom he shares a romantic connection.
Together, they work to unravel horrifying murders in this reality-based thriller, where my poetry experiences a renaissance through the subplot.
As for Beacon and Imperfections, I might consider listing the remaining signed and numbered first editions on eBay. After all, John Grisham’s early novels are now coveted collector's items.
